When untangling a wayward skein of yarn, try not to pass the yarn through itself. The yarn cannot physically knot itself, it simply twists on itself and loops itself through other loops. It’s a tough one, as it’s very tempting to find and end and keep passing it through the loops in the knotty mess. But steal yourself and tease it out. You WILL find the loops and twists.
